Geosynthetics

Whether your project calls for separation, stabilization, reinforcement, drainage, containment, or erosion control, Hanes Geo Components can help connect the problem to the solution. Contact us today for help with site assessments, product guidance, installation support, sourcing and delivery.

Geotextiles

TerraTex® geotextiles include a full line of woven and nonwoven fabrics engineered to provide various functions for site development and roadway construction applications, including separation, stabilization, filtration, reinforcement, pavement overlay enhancement, and moisture management. Product selection can be made for each application using AASHTO M288 guidelines, or contact us for project specific solutions.

Geogrids

Geogrids provide two main functions: uniaxial products can support the static loads present in  retaining walls, steepened slopes, , and embankments,  while biaxial and multiaxial products can reduce the pressure on a subgrade in roadways or other trafficked structures.

Geocells

Geocell is an engineered system made of high-density polyethylene strips that are ultrasonically welded together to form a strong, honeycomb configuration. When soil, sand, aggregate, concrete, or other fill material is  confined within the cells, the system can provide an extremely stable base for roadways and other trafficked structures, as well as retaining the fill for permanent erosion control in slope applications.

TerraDrain® Sheet and Strip Drains

Sheet and strip drains provide subsurface drainage by collecting and transporting surface and subsurface water away from below grade structures like basements, parking garages, retaining walls, etc. They can effectively replace aggregate based systems with only 1-2% of the necessary space.

Geomembranes

Geomembranes are used to provide an impermeable barrier for many different applications. They can be polymer based, such as HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, WCPE, RPP, RPE, etc. or a GCL, which is a geosynthetic/clay combination of sodium bentonite mechanically bonded between two geotextiles.
