TerraTex® GE112

TerraTex® GE112 is a needle-punched nonwoven geotextile made of 100% polypropylene staple fibers, which are formed into a random network for dimensional stability. TerraTex® GE112 resists ultraviolet deterioration, rotting, biological degradation, naturally encountered basics and acids. TerraTex® GE112 conforms to the properties listed as per Table 1-10-2, Heavy, of AREMA Manual of Railway Engineering, pg. 1-10-7, (2013)

All values provided are intended for rapid comparison purposes, only. Please refer to a specific product’s Product Data Sheet (PDS) and the disclaimers therein for a detailed listing of all characteristics, associated definitions and values needed for structure design, specification compliance review and product submittal purposes. Please Download PDS for all information transfer, printing and submittal purposes.

Unless noted otherwise, all values are minimum average roll values (MARV).

  • 1   At the time of manufacturing. Handling, storage, and shipping may change these properties.
  • 2   Value represents maximum average roll value.
  • 3   Transmissivity is measured at Gradient 1.0 and 3.5 psi load with 15-minute seating time between steel plates.
